Radiohead's In Rainbows feels like rather an obvious touchstone when looking to compare I'lls' latest hypnotic track, 'Keep', but there's no doubting the Melbourne natives have given their Oxford kin's seventh LP a few spins in the past. Much like Radiohead, it's all about layer upon layer of bleached vocals, softly picked guitars, sleepy synth chords and anchored beats for the trio of Dan Rutman, Hamish Mitchell and Simon Lam. Drawn from their next EP, Can I Go With You To Go Back To My Country, released 6th July on Solitaire Records, 'Keep' is outsider pop at its finest. - DC
